Please take a few minutes to read the following information sheet and then sign to confirm your understanding and acceptance of the conditions on booking.

Please follow the following procedure when hosting a function in the hall.

 

  1. Locate the electricity meters in the cupboard on the right as you enter the kitchen. Record the readings in the table below before switching on any of the heating or lighting.

  1. Locate and familiarise yourself with all of the EMERGENCY EXITS and the FIRE ALARM locations. Please make all your guests aware of all of the individual locations.
  2. The maximum capacity of the hall is 150 persons.
  3. Please leave the hall, as you would wish to find it. Please ensure that all rubbish is cleared away and the floors are swept and clean. Cleaning equipment is provided and may be found in the cupboard at the rear of the hall.
  4. Please note any damage in the book provided in the kitchen.
  5. Please ensure that the meters are read at the end of your function, and included in the total remittance to the booking secretary or treasurer.
  6. Small tables and chairs for children are available for hire at an additional cost, this can be arranged by contacting the Daviot Play Group on 01467-671208.
  7. Please note that the hall insurance will not accept any liability for your function. If you wish to arrange cover at an approximate cost of £10.00 you can contact McVey Insurance Services on 01358-721581 who will be happy to arrange cover for you.

Please complete the attached booking form and return J Sparshatt, Glenmor, Daviot.

Payment can be made by cheque or cash, cheques made payable to Daviot village Hall.

A returnable breakages deposit of £50.00 is required from out of village users at the time of booking. Please send the deposit to the Daviot Village Hall booking secretary at Glenmor Daviot, AB51 0HZ.

Please return the keys for the hall and the remittance within 48 Hours of date of hire.

Please note any damage or theft occurring during the function is deemed the responsibility of the hirer and will be invoiced to the hirer directly. Further, if the hall is left in a dirty or unacceptable condition the hirer will be invoiced for the extra cleaning charges.
